Description
These farm buildings, likely used as a stable, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of rubble with a squared stone end and feature tooled-and-margined dressings, topped with a stone slate roof. The gabled south front has a Gothick style that complements the nearby Home Farmhouse in its planned layout. It includes a 12-pane sash window with intersecting-glazing bars under a pointed arch, and a boarded-over quatrefoil window above, both set in stone surrounds. The right side of the building displays three boarded doors, two of which are framed in alternating-block surrounds. There are attached farm buildings to the north that have been altered and feature a Welsh slate roof, but these are not of interest.
