Description

A pair of houses built in the second quarter of the 19th century. They are constructed of tooled-and-margined ashlar with a Welsh slate roof and 20th-century brick stacks. The houses are two storeys high and three bays wide. They have a plinth. Number 30 has a four-panel door with a plain overlight between the centre and left bays, while number 31 has a six-panel door with a plain overlight at the right end. Both houses feature twelve-pane sash windows, set within raised surrounds with slightly-projecting sills. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The left-end gable has a pitched coping on a moulded kneeler. A left-end stack and a ridge stack have been rebuilt on their original bases.
