Description
Barleyhill Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of rubble with cut quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The north elevation features two storeys and three bays, with a first-floor band. The central segmental arch has a raised stone surround with imposts and keystones, and it contains a 20th-century door and glazing. The late 19th-century windows are four-pane sash types. There are stone stacks at the ends of the building. The right side shows a large blind Venetian window. The rear elevation has a central door with a 20th-century window inserted above it, along with a circular window, both framed with raised stone surrounds. Inside, the central hall includes a staircase with stick balusters.
