Description

The Hodgson tomb, located 3 metres north of the Church of St. Michael, is a Grade II listed table tomb dating from 1834. It is made of sandstone and features a horizontal slab with a bevelled top and a moulded edge, supported by six shaped square-plan balusters. The slab is inscribed in memory of Sarah Hodgson, who died on September 2, 1834, along with her husband and children.
