Description
The churchyard wall, gate, and gate piers located to the north of the Village Hall were built in the late 19th century. The wall is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble, while the gate piers are made of dressed stone. The entrance features a cast-iron gate with bars and half-bars topped with spike finials. There are a pair of tall square-plan piers with offset caps, positioned on the left return of the Village Hall, which is connected to an L-plan wall on the left. The wall has a triangular coping and is raked down at the rounded left corner. The return section of the wall rises near the end, adjacent to a shop that is part of No. 2 Church View. This structure is included for its group value.
