Description
Sandforth Moor Farmhouse and the flanking farm buildings date from the early to mid-19th century. The farmhouse is constructed from coursed rubble that has been painted white, with a roof replaced in concrete ridged tiles, while the farm buildings have pantiled roofs. There are brick chimney stacks present. The farmhouse is two stories high and has three bays. It features a central replaced door with a narrow overlight above, and replaced four-pane sash windows with projecting sills. The roof has raised verges and rendered end stacks with top bands. The single-storey farm buildings on either side include a right range with a 20th-century casement window that has a projecting sill, and a left range with a rebuilt brick ridge stack. At the rear of the farmhouse, there is a low two-storey outshut that has two 16-pane horizontal-sliding sash windows on the left side. The rear of the left range includes three boarded doors, a Dutch door, and a replaced six-pane sash window.
