Description

Northcott is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed from rendered and painted rubble and features a replaced pantiled roof with rebuilt brick chimney stacks. The house has two storeys and three wide bays. To the left of the centre, there is a partly-glazed four-panel door set in a wooden doorcase, positioned between bay windows. On the ground floor, there are three early 20th-century canted bay windows, while the upper floor has three replaced small 12-pane sash windows with projecting sills above. The steeply-pitched roof has slightly-swept eaves and includes left end and ridge stacks.
