Description

This boundary stone, located approximately 50 metres west of the east end of Bath Wood, is likely from the 18th century. It is made of tooled ashlar and has a square-section block that stands about 0.5 metres high and measures 0.2 metres across. The north and south faces feature large Roman capitals, with the letter "R" for Raby and "S" for Staindrop incised into the stone.
