Description
Raysholme is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It features a roughcast exterior, dressed sandstone, and an old pantiled roof with two rendered brick gable stacks. The building is two stories tall and has a three-bay front. The central doorway has monolithic jambs, a lintel, and a late 19th-century four-panel door. To the left of the door is a 20-pane fixed window, and to the right is a canted bay window. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows and a central late 19th-century four-pane sash window. The roof is slightly swept and has a moderately pitched design.
