Description

Copper Beech House is a farmhouse with a range of attached outbuildings located to the west. The north range of the farmhouse likely dates from the early 18th century, while the mid-19th century south range was added to the rear. The north range is constructed of limewashed sandstone rubble with dressed quoins, featuring a renewed pantiled roof and rebuilt brick stacks. The south range is made of limewashed dressed sandstone with quoins, a Welsh slate roof, and rendered brick stacks. The outbuildings are built from limewashed sandstone rubble and have a pantiled roof.

The two-storey, four-bay south range includes a Tuscan doorcase with a four-panel door and overlight in the third bay from the left. It has replaced 12-pane sash windows with projecting sills, and the ground-floor windows also feature wedge lintels. The low-pitched roof has coped gables and shaped kneelers, with two end stacks and one ridge stack. The north range has varied fenestration and a steeply-pitched roof with gable parapets and shaped kneelers, along with east end and ridge stacks. Attached to the west of the north range is a single-storey, five-bay range of outbuildings that includes a 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash window and two boarded doors, all beneath a low-pitched roof with slightly-overhanging eaves.
