The water pump and trough, located 45 metres east of the Kirk Inn, date from the mid-19th century. The iron pump is housed in a wooden case with a sloping top and features a cylindrical front spout and an S-curved side handle. The trough is low and has a semicircular plan. This structure serves as a notable feature of the village.
