Description

The wall to the east of Durham Prison Officers' Club is a Grade II listed structure that is part of a medieval farm building, which has since been demolished. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with later ashlar dressings, and features a stone-flagged coping that represents the surviving roof eaves. The wall has three blocked windows, each with flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. This wall is included in the listing for its group value context.
