Description
No. 75 on Hallgarth Street is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of painted brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with banded brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and two windows. There is a four-panelled door on the right, set in wooden jambs and topped with a soldier-course lintel. To the left, there is a late 19th-century sash window with a prominent wedge stone lintel and a projecting stone sill. Above the first-floor sashes, there are soldier-course lintels with glazing bars and projecting stone sills. The house has end chimneys, with the right chimney being renewed and topped with yellow pots.
