Description
This is a barn located 5 metres west of Rosedene, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble and features a stone-flagged roof. The barn is two storeys high and consists of four bays with alternating flush quoins. On the left side, there is a boarded door set in a flush surround, and to the right, there is a breather and a partly-glazed hit-and-miss window. Above these, there are two square openings, also in flush surrounds. The roof has coped gables and stone ridge tiles.
There is a one-storey rear addition covered with a corrugated-asbestos roof, but this part is not considered of special interest. The barn is included in the listing for its group value.
