Water tap and tablet, dated 1868. Roughly-squared stone with bronze tap and ashlar tablet. Tap in square-headed recess; gabled tablet above has moulded surround and inscription over: 'THIS SUPPLY OF WATER WAS BROUGHT HERE FROM NEAR WARDEN HILL, A DISTANCE OF 1200 YARDS, AT THE SOLE EXPENSE OF CUTHBERT WATSON ESQ OF OVINGTON WHO FOR 60 YEARS HAS BEEN THE CONFIDENTIAL AGENT OF THE WYCLIFFE ESTATE, FOR WHICH GREAT BOON THE INHABITANTS OF HUTTON ERECT THIS TABLET TO EXPRESS TO HIM THEIR GRATITUDE AND HEARTFELT THANKS. October 5th 1868.'
