HUTTON MAGNA HUTTON MAGNA VILLAGE (East side) Hutton Farmhouse

House, c.1700. Rubble with cut dressings. C20 tile roof with stone slates to the eaves; one stack rebuilt in brick. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central renewed doorway; renewed glazing in wide windows, probably formerly wood-mullioned; all openings in raised stone surrounds with relieving arches above. Coped gables on moulded kneelers; stepped-and-banded right end stack, left end stack rebuilt. 2 stone-surround windows on right return; contemporary outshut to rear. Interior has a Stone fireplace with bracketed hood, spine beams and an original splat baluster staircase.
