Description

This is a township road marker stone, probably from the 18th century. It is made of sandstone and stands about 0.5 metres high, featuring a rectangular section with an arched top. The south side is inscribed with "Marwood Township," using a long 's'. The stone is located approximately 100 metres south of Handkerchief Plantation.
