Description

This field barn, located 20 metres south of the Village Hall, dates from around 1840. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and has a blue slate roof. The barn is one storey high with a loft and consists of three bays. The south front features a pair of boarded doors set within a central elliptical archway, which has a projecting keystone. There are single breathers on either side of the doors. The sides of the barn have paired breathers and a square opening positioned high up. This barn is a notable feature in the village.
