Description

The Master's House, now incorporating Clergy Flats, is a house that dates back to 1832. It is built from dressed sandstone and features Welsh slate roofs, showcasing a classical style. The building has two storeys and consists of six bays, with the left bay projecting at both the front and rear.

An added flat-roofed porch at the front includes a glazed door with a three-pane overlight, along with three 12-pane sash windows. To the right side, there is a panelled door with a six-pane overlight. The remaining windows are 12-pane sashes, some of which have been replaced, set in plain square-cut openings with flush lintels and projecting sills.

Above, a flat-coped parapet conceals a low-pitched hipped roof that has four transverse ridge stacks. The left return of the building also has a similar four-bay arrangement. At the rear, there are scattered sashes, including two large 24-pane stair windows.
