Description

46-47 High Street is a pair of shops with offices above, designed in the French Renaissance style. The building is constructed from Bathstone and features a slate mansard roof. It has three storeys plus an attic, with a stone attic dormer on each side that encloses a single window. On the second floor, there are large arched windows, each with a keystone and medallions in the spandrels. The first floor has shallow splayed windows, each with a balustrade above, and there is balustrading between the bay windows, which are situated above modern shop fronts on the ground floor.
