Description
The Pensarn Canal Bridge is a hump-backed bridge that spans the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal. It is built into a canal lock to the west. The bridge is constructed of rubblestone and features a single segmental arch made of dressed sandstone voussoirs. The parapets have chamfered coping. On the eastern side, there is a cast-iron plate above the arch that displays raised white-painted lettering reading 'PENSARN No. 5 BRIDGE'.
