Description
Little Porton Cottage is a single-storey building with a loft, constructed of brick that is pebbledashed, with the rear partially made of clay. It features a thatched roof covered with tin sheeting and has brick chimneys at both ends. The front entrance includes a half-glazed panelled door, with one casement window to the left and two to the right. There is an attic window at each end, and a small window on the west end at the rear.
The left end bay is open to the rafters, which likely indicates that it was originally built as a croglofft. Access to the attic bedrooms is provided by separate ladder-stairs.
