Description
Great Newra is a two-storey building with a broad five-window front facing southeast. It is constructed from grey coursed squared rubble and features a band course between the floors. The hipped slate roof has two chimneys at the ridge. The windows are hornless small-pane sash glazing. A central gabled porch displays the inscription "Roger Keene 1865" above a panelled entrance door. To the left, there is a single-storey agricultural range. At the rear, there is a two-window block to the west, which forms a partial double-pile plan and includes lean-to extensions. Inside this block, the rear wall of the main building has blocked doors and a window from a 17th-century house.
