Description
Fair Orchard Barn and the attached agricultural buildings are constructed of stone with slate roofs, although the rear slope of the barn features tiles. The barn faces the road and includes a large threshing doorway with boarded doors, flanked by camber-headed doorways on each side. To the right, there is a 19th-century addition that features a broad cartshed doorway and a loading door above to the left, along with a further lean-to on the right. At the rear, two long ranges form a yard at right angles to the barn. The north range, which faces the yard, is built of brick, while the rear is made of stone and has a slate roof with a chimney breast facing the yard. The south range is constructed of stone and has a tiled roof, with an attached parallel range made of similar materials to the south.
