Description
Ty'r Heol Farm is a single-storey dwelling with a loft above, constructed from whitewashed rubble masonry. It features a brick end-chimney on the north side, with oversailing courses that suggest it once had a thatched roof. The low-pitched roof is now covered in galvanised sheeting. The west elevation, facing the road, has a four-pane horned sash window on the left, a central boarded door, and a 12-pane window on the right. The north gable includes a small 2-pane loft casement window that opens inwards.
On the rear (east) elevation, there is a door leading to a cross passage, a fixed-light window with eight surviving panes and an opening frame at the top, and a barred dairy window. The dwelling consists of five structural bays, with original collar beam trusses supporting longitudinal poles and a plaited straw thatch under-thatch. The loft floor is intact, with a ladder access hole. A cross-partition to the right of the door remains above the loft floor level, and there is a remnant of a fireplace backing onto the former cross passage, along with a blocked doorway leading from the dwelling part to the cross passage.
