Description

The double barn located to the north of Trellech Farmhouse is constructed from coursed squared sandstone rubble and features a roof made of corrugated sheet metal and asbestos. This long structure is adjacent to, but does not include, the former Church Hall to the north. It consists of three sections: the main barn at the southern end, an infill section in the middle, and a secondary barn that connects to the former Hall.

The main barn has dressed quoins and includes a hayloft at its southern end. The street-facing side features central cart doors with a slit vent on either side. The south gable has a central hayloft door with an elliptical head, along with a doorway positioned below and to the left.

To the north of the main barn is a later infill made of coursed squared stone, which has a blocked keyed doorway below and a square opening above. Further north is another barn, built with more neatly squared stone, which also has cart doors and abuts the former Hall.

The rear elevations of these ranges and the interiors were not accessible for inspection during the resurvey.
