Description

The cross in the churchyard of the Church of St Nicholas is made of red and grey sandstone in large blocks. It stands on a square base with five diminishing steps. At the top of the base is a large square socket stone with broaches, which supports the base of a tapering octagonal shaft. The shaft is topped by a later tapering stone and a small cross.
