Description
Hill Court is a three-storey building with 19th-century additions on the west and east sides. The main block is entirely faced with cement render, likely over rubblestone, while the wings are also rendered and painted. It has Welsh slate roofs and rendered stacks. The main south elevation features four windows in the central block, with an additional window bay to the left and three more to the right, arranged as 1 + 4 + 3. The ground floor has French casements beneath an iron tented verandah. The upper windows are 6 over 6 pane sashes, with 3 over 6 on the top floor. The building has a hipped roof with ridge stacks.
On the left side, there is a Doric porch in antis. The rear elevation is simpler in design. The interior was only partially observed during the resurvey; the west wing includes the entrance hall and orangery, both dating from 1860 and featuring coved ceilings.
