Description

The boundary wall of St Pierre Hotel is approximately 300 meters long on either side of the Portskewett entrance gates. It is made of random local limestone rubble and varies in height, date, and thickness. This section is part of the wall that surrounds the deer park of St Pierre, and it appears to be the oldest, best preserved, and most significant part. The wall is best viewed alongside the A48 to the north of Parkwall roundabout.
