Description
The cowshed at Hill Barn, Parkwall Farm, is built from local squared grey limestone rubble and features a pantiled roof. It has an open front with seven bays supported by cylindrical stone columns, while the gable and rear walls are blank.
Inside, the cowshed has a spacious layout with a seven-bay roof structure. This includes principal rafters with ties, single tiers of staggered purlins, and a narrow ridge piece. The rafters and battens are all intact, and the timbers are machine sawn.
