Description
Old Inn Cottage is a two-storey building with an attic, constructed with a wholly rendered and painted exterior, likely over rubble stone, and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features a single depth central entry plan and a continuous outshut at the rear. The front elevation has two windows, which are cross-framed casements set in elliptical heads. There is a central plaque under the eaves inscribed with "1755 PJE." The roof is fairly steeply pitched and includes a stack on the gable and at the junction with the adjoining house. The left side of the building has a lean-to addition on the gable wall. The rear elevation showcases a long catslide roof that extends low over the single-storey outshut. The attic contains modern features, including two rooflights. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
