Description
This is a Regency terrace house and attached unit, originally two separate dwellings and now used as offices. Built in the early 19th century, the building is constructed of rendered rubble with a slate roof and a brick end stack. The left unit is three storeys high, with a shallow parapet and a single window range featuring 12-pane sashes with narrow glazing bars within reveals. It has a doorway with a moulded doorcase including shallow brackets and a semicircular overlight with radial glazing, leading to a six-panelled door. The right unit is two storeys high, with rusticated rendering to the front and a hipped roof. It has two windows on each floor; the ground floor window is tripartite with a raised rendered surround, while the doorway features a four-panelled door, a bracketed hood, and a three-pane overlight. The side elevation of the upper unit fronts a passage. A rear cross wing on the downhill unit retains original sash windows. Inside, two staircases remain, and the building has been converted for office use.
