Description
The Old School is a building constructed from roughly coursed local rubblestone, which has been completely painted over, featuring a concrete tile roof and a red brick chimney. It has a picturesque gabled style with an L-shaped plan, consisting of a single storey and a tall attic. The front elevation has three bays, with a tall gabled wing on the left side. This wing includes a ground floor window with four lights on the bottom and four lights on the top, as well as a narrow six-pane casement window high in the gable. Below this window, there is a small sunk panel, and above it, a tiny triangular vent. The right return of this wing has a small window and an entrance door. The wing on the right features two windows, both of which are two-light small paned casements. There is an additional single storey wing that connects to the right return gable, which also has a small paned window and another small window high in the gable. The roof is steeply pitched, with a ridge stack located at the junction of the two wings. The rear elevation has not been seen, and the interior details were not available during the resurvey.
