Description

The Seat at Hall Monument is likely constructed from Bath stone ashlar and features a classical design typical of the Edwardian Baroque style. Rusticated piers frame a recessed oak bench, and a cornice spans the recess. The piers extend upward to support a swan-neck cornice, which includes a rusticated arch and a central keystone. This architectural arrangement frames a recess that contains an inscribed stone panel.
