Description
This late Georgian townhouse, located at 8 Lower Church Street, is attached on one side and set back from nos. 9-10. The building features stucco walls with raised bands and a quoin strip, as well as sillbands, a plinth, and window surrounds. It has a pantile roof with brick end stacks and a double-pile plan behind a narrow frontage. The townhouse stands three storeys tall with a basement. It has a single window range of 4-pane sashes with exposed frames. To the left, there is a recessed doorway beneath a bracketed hood, with steps leading up to a panelled door. In front, there is a shallow forecourt with spear railings that include a light-well to the basement.
