Description
Nos. 12 and 14 Priory Street Rendered and painted elevations with chamfered quoins on all corners, Welsh slate roof. Three storeys, semi-detached pair but set at right-angles as No. 12 has two windows to the street and three to the garden, while No. 14 has three to the street and two to the garden. The street elevation has five window bays, but all windows on the left, and two on the top right are blind. Otherwise double hung sashes with 8 over 8 panes on the ground floor, 6 over 6 on the first floor and 3 over 6 above. Round headed doorways with fanlights and panel doors in bays 2 and 4. Two window bays on east side facing Monk Street, with a small lean-to obscuring part of the ground floor; three on west (garden) side with hipped glass roof verandah on ground floor, supported on six delicate wrought iron panels with panelled balustrade; paired French casements to verandah. Bracketed eaves with the roof hipped to both south and west, three large brick stacks.
