Description
The garden wall and pergola at High Glanau is a rubble wall with coping that extends from the woodland at the southwest edge of the informal gardens to a narrow country lane. At the western end, there is a garden shed that projects on both sides of the wall. Beyond this, a doorway leads into the kitchen garden, featuring stepped voussoirs on the north side. Steps rise to the east, leading to the pergola, which has recently been restored. The pergola is supported by four cylindrical columns and a taller buttressed wall. There is an additional doorway at the eastern end.
