Description
The Abercarn War Memorial is a cenotaph made of white stone, set on a base of three granite steps. It features a two-tier plinth and base, adorned with a bronze plaque in a decorative frame. Above this is a tapering pier, which has a bronze wreath and a Welsh inscription, finishing with a cornice moulding. At the top of the memorial is a bronze female figure in flowing drapery, carrying a wreath and blowing a trumpet. An additional plaque is located at the base to the rear.
