Description

The Thomas family monument consists of a pair of masonry chest tombs that rest on a single large plinth made of coursed masonry. There is a vault beneath the tombs with an entrance on the west side. Each chest features angle pilasters with recessed panels that display inverted torches in relief. The faces of the tombs are inset and include white marble tablets with inscriptions. They are topped with moulded cap stones that have shallow coping, each supporting a decorative casket. The northern tomb is open at the eastern end.
