Description
The timber aqueduct, built using traditional techniques, spans the former Taff Bargoed Railway. It features two spans supported by masonry and brick abutments, as well as two timber trestle piers. The sides of the aqueduct are made of planks, secured by timber cross members both above and below, and are tied vertically with wrought iron rods. The entire structure measures approximately 32 meters in length.
