Description
The Pedestal and Statue of "Caradog" is a Grade II listed structure featuring a pre-cast stone square pedestal with chamfered corners and raised inscribed panels. Atop the pedestal stands a bronze statue of 'Caradog', depicted as if conducting. Behind him, a coat is draped over a three-legged stool adorned with tassels on the seat. To the right of the stool, a violin leans against it, referencing Caradog's skill as a violinist; the absence of a bow is said to symbolize the story that he used a silk handkerchief in place of a bow.
