Description
Llanishen Fach is a former farmhouse that has been divided into two dwellings. It is constructed of white-painted stone rubble and features a shallow pitched hipped Welsh slate roof with boarded overhanging eaves and rendered lateral stacks. The building is a two-storey rectangular block.
The east front has a blank, slightly projecting bay at the left (south) end, followed by a range of four windows. On the first floor, there are very small casement windows and one 16-pane horned sash window at the far right. The ground floor has two doorways: the right side features a wide panelled door with a 16-pane sash window to the right, while the left side has another panelled door at the end and a larger 16-pane sash window with narrow glazing bars and a deep sill to the right. All openings are set within reveals.
At the rear, there is a single-storey outshut that shows signs of masonry alterations, along with three external projections that may have been former flues. Each floor has casement windows. On the outward-facing gable end, there is a single sash window on each floor and a slightly projecting bay.
