Description
Nos. 41 and 43 Heol-y-deri are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the Rhiwbina Type 9 style. They are two storeys high and feature roughcast render that has been renewed and painted. There is a band at the first-floor sill level and a hipped slate roof with a central brick chimney.
The outer bays of the houses have a round-headed arch leading to the porch, and No. 41 has an original door with glazing in the upper part, which has been moved forward. No. 41 has a window on each floor with modern glazing, while No. 43 features tripartite small-pane sash windows on each floor, consisting of a central 12-pane sash flanked by narrow sashes.
On the sides, both houses have two windows towards the front on the first floor and a window further back, while on the ground floor, there is a window towards the front and a doorway further back.
