Description

A farmhouse, dating from the later 18th century, now divided into two dwellings. The building is constructed of red brick with granite rubble stone, featuring a moulded brick plinth, brick band, eaves, and a Welsh slate front roof (Swithland slate to the rear). It has a brick coped gable and a central brick ridge with stacks at the right end. The front facade has two and a half storeys with three eight-pane sash windows per floor. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a two-light horizontal sliding sash window with top lights, a doorway, a similar two-light window, and a two-light window, now fixed except for the opening top right light. The right end of the ground floor is of granite rubble stone with a door and two one-light windows, and an additional attic one-light window. A lean-to extension and three two-light dormers are present at the rear.
