Description

This is a house dating from the late 16th and 17th centuries, and it has been altered since. The exterior is whitewashed brick with a granite rubble stone plinth, a brick band, and remnants of timber framing, all topped with a slate-grey tile roof and brick end stacks. The front façade features two storeys with two 2-light casement windows on each level. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a late 19th-century doorcase with a hood and a partially glazed door, a 3-light casement window, and a 20th-century bow window. Two wall posts run vertically from the plinth to the eaves, dividing the front façade into approximately three sections. A small section of close studding is visible at the rear of the property. Inside, there are some original ceiling beams.
