Description

This is an 18th-century house, potentially with earlier origins, located on King Street in Sileby. The main part of the house is constructed of red brick, with a granite rubble stone plinth and walling on the left end and rear wing. It features a brick band, eaves, and a 20th-century concrete tile roof, topped with rendered end stacks. The building follows a "T" plan, with a wing extending to the rear. Brick coped gables are present. The front facade has two storeys with three 8/8 sash windows, and two further windows have been blocked. The ground floor features matching 8/8 sash windows on either side of a central doorway, which has a 6-panelled door and overlight with glazing bars. Stone sills and slightly cambered gauged brick lintels are present. A two-storey wing and a one-storey extension project to the rear.
