Description
No. 35 on Little Church Lane is an early 18th-century house constructed of whitewashed brick, featuring a granite rubble stone plinth, a brick band, and brick eaves that are nogged in part. The roof is made of Swithland slate, with brick stacks on the left ridge and right front. The building has two and a half storeys, with a combination of a 2-light and a 3-light casement window. On the ground floor, from the left, there is a carriage entrance, a small 1-light casement, a 2-light casement, and a French window. The brick band arches over the latter two windows. An 8-pane dormer is present on the roof. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with roofs made of Welsh slate, Swithland slate, and pantiles. Inside, the house features an inglenook fireplace and stop-chamfered beams.
