Description
The barn and attached calf pens at Llwyn-yr-eos Farm are constructed from whitewashed stone rubble with Welsh slate roofs, while some of the pen walls are made of brick. The large barn features a corrugated steel shed attached at the rear. The yard side of the barn has cart doors, with two additional doors below to the left and two openings above. There are also cart openings at the rear and a staircase leading to the loft, which is located in the gable end. The roof is hipped over the entire structure.
On the yard side, there is a single-storey range that includes three doors and four windows for the calf pens. Attached to the barn at the rear are pigsties, which have another door and window leading into the barn.
Inside, the barn has a lofted space with machine-sawn roof trusses. The calf pens feature tiled floors, feeding racks, and roofs supported by king post trusses.
