Description

The City Cross is a restored stone cross set on a four-stepped square stone plinth. The plinth is inscribed with the following text: "The City Cross was reset, and the Green partially enclosed at the public cost, by the Llandaff Parish Council, in the year of our Lord 1897, being the sixtieth year of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. James R Buckley, Chairman." The cross features a broached socket stone that leads to an octagonal cross-shaft topped with a chamfered head.
