Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse featuring three bays of unequal height. It is constructed from colour-washed stone rubble, with some areas cement rendered, and has a roof that is partly thatched. The building includes a large brick chimney stack, which is partly slated, with a central ridge and end stacks.
In the center, the thatched wing is one window wide and has small multipane casement windows. To the right, there is a two-storey wing that is stepped down and has a flatter roof pitch. This wing features two 6/6 pane casements on the first floor and larger, mismatched casements below, both with cambered heads. There is a ledged and boarded door to the left. To the left, there is a single-storey extension that has a similar cambered-headed casement window.
Inside the early wing, there are three cross beams with broach stops and joists, along with an open fireplace. Adjacent to this is a staircase with timber treads.
